Old Money & Filmy Engagements
Lila and Brian are the most romantic couple ever, and wanted a Pinterest worthy gallery- so that is what we created! This location is in downtown Dallas right outside a dreamy, old-school hotel, which created the perfect scene for this filmy/old money vibe. Lila is the most creative ever and made not only the bouquet- but she also made her darling pearly shoes! HOW CUTE!!! Adding props like the bouquet are so great! Props add dimension, and allow more types of interaction in the photos. Overall- It was such an easy-going session, and we had SO much fun! Being able to capture their genuine love and pure emotion makes me absolutely overjoyed!
Urban & Lighthearted
The other location we went to was a parking garage right smack in the middle of Dallas. The cityscape here was unreal, and the overcast morning made the building color pop! Overcast days are actually so amazing for photos! They don't create harsh shadows, so every photo is soft and creamy. What I love about this location is the fun and lighthearted feel it creates. We incorporated a lot of movement through different prompts, and just enjoyed the company of one another. I put a lot of thought into capturing the tiny details (like how they held each others hand & how they looked into each others eyes) to also capturing the big picture.
